Build trust
through transparency.

IFRS S1 & S2 are the new benchmark for sustainability reporting across the globe. The successor to TCFD, the standards capture the detailed financial implications of the climate-related risks and opportunities your business is facing.

For those that embrace the challenge, a strong disclosure can build credibility and demonstrate responsibility to investors, regulators and other stakeholders.

What are IFRS S1 & S2?

Published by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) in 2023, IFRS S1 & S2 are the successor standards to TCFD. They represent a major step up, requiring a more rigorous scenario analysis, full disclosure of emissions and explicit links between sustainability disclosures and financial statements.

While organisations can report on the standards voluntarily, they are also being adopted for mandatory disclosures by many countries around the world, creating a more standardised language for climate risk. Countries implementing IFRS S1 and/or S2 for mandatory reporting include Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan, Nigeria, Singapore, Türkiye and the UK (UK SRS).
